Description
6-(γ,γ-dimethylallylamino)purine (2iP) is a bacteria-derived riboside cytokinin.
This solution is suitable to grow plant tissues such as tobacco and soybean callus.
2iP was first discovered for its cytokinin activity from an array of synthetic analogs from kinetin (Rogozinska et al. 1964).
In addition, 2iP promotes cell division, shoot proliferation and organogenesis, aids in the maintenance of the shoot-apical meristem, disrupts apical dominance, and delays senescence.
6-(γ,γ-dimethylallylamino)purine at Caisson Labs has a liquid format and its size is 100ML.
